Why did you decide to run in the 2018 (Winnipeg Civic Election / School Board Election)?

I have always had a passion for politics.  I care about the quality of education our students have.

 

 

What experience will you bring to complement your role as (Mayor / Councillor / School Trustee)?

I am a union activist. I can advocate  for the school division.  I can also serve as a liason on any committee

 

What are some issues that you would like to stand for in your role as (Mayor / Councillor / School Trustee), and why are these issues important to you?

I care about equality and diversity in our school division. I also care about cuts to our education system by Brian Pallister.  He promised he not make cuts to education or health care.

 

 

What is something that you appreciate about the (City of Winnipeg / the ward / the school ward or school division) you wish to represent?

I appreciate that the school division has Gay/Straight Alliances in the schools.

 

Do you have any other comments regarding your candidacy?

This is my first time to run in a election. I would appreciate any donations to help me get flyers and signs made.
